THE
HUNTED
Online Internet Series
Written, produced and directed by Robert Chapin

The
Hunted is an internet series that combines elements of "Buffy the Vampire
Slayer" and "Highlander" shot in the style of "Cops." Set in present day
Los Angeles, people who have been bitten by vampires have banded together
to protect themselves from recurring attacks. The vampires, like cockroaches,
have developed an immunity to everything over the years: crosses, sunlight,
and holy water have no effect, and a stake in the heart just pisses them
off. The only way they can be killed is to have their head cut off.

and is bitten. Gary refuses to join the Hunted and is immediately captured
by Vincent Marlowe, an extremely powerful vampire, who accuses Gary of
killing his only daughter. Gary is saved by the Hunted, but Marlowe retaliates

Described as a "FATAL ATTRACTION" meets "THELMA AND LOUISE", "MANHUNT"
offers audiences the ultimate conflict in the war between the
sexes... When your average, single noncommittal male CHRISTOPHER
BENNETT is drawn into a brief but passionate relationship with
the alluring KATHARINE, three simple words "I love you" will mean
more than a testimony of commitment and affection, they will mean
the difference between life and death. When Katharine finds evidence
of Christopher's past unresolved relationships, she accuses him
of lying to her when he told her those three simple words. Christopher
only makes matters worse when he tries to remedy the situation
with another three words, just as familiar, and just as deadly
-- "let's be friends". Determined to teach Chris a lesson he won't
forget, Kathy holds Chris to the one promise he ever made to her
-- a picnic in the desert. In the middle of the harsh and lifeless
desert, Kathy suddenly produces a shotgun instead of sandwiches
informing Chris "this ain't gonna be no picnic". She then produces
a bullet for every girl Chris ever slept with, lied to, or cheated
on. This is how many chances he's got, he's got sixty seconds,
start running... While blaming Chris for every atrocity ever commited
towards womankind, Kathy tracks Chris across the endless desert
-- the perfect arena for the battle of the sexes where the greatest
equalizer is a single shotgun. In this action/adventure desert
chase, dramatic tension is combined with a near-lethal dose of
black comedy as Chris must somehow come to term with the truth
of Kathy's accusations, face the reality of past relationships,
find his way out of the desert, and end this deadly game called
"MANHUNT. "
